Inter-House Sport

House spirit is encouraged by inter-house sports. Swimming, athletics and cross-country sports are organised as house contests that go towards the SCRANO (inter-house trophy). Inter-house lunchtime competitions in sports such as touch and soccer are also held.

There are three sections that points are awarded for.

    Lunchtime Sports - includes touch, tug-of-war, basketball, ironman

Outdoor Education

  • Year Nine students have a short introduction camp in term one. This is designed to provide an opportunity for day students to interact and develop team-work in an out-of-class setting.
  • Year Ten students have an end-of-year camp that focuses more fully on skills development in specific areas such as kayaking, orienteering, abseiling, tramping, climbing and bushcraft.
  • Optional weekend trips are also offered to students such as weekly ski trips in winter.
  • Prefects have a leadership training camp over the first weekend of the school year.
  • There is a year long Outdoor Eductaion class for Year Nine
  • Students enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh's course undertake several outdoor challenges at each level of the award.
